One of the all-time classic covers(reprinted here for Best Of 2000AD Monthly#28)this Bolland piece features the Synthetti Men as part of recurring Judge Dredd versus The Mob series,The Mega-Rackets(Progs209-23,25Apr-1Aug’81).
In this two-parter The Psychos,Mega-City gangsters are using telepaths(or Psykers)to psychically attack their enemies,making them believe any number of frightening apparitions-including your food coming to life to eat you!

Exciting times this week in Prog 1836 as not only does 17th century Zombie slayer,Defoe crashes back into the pages of 2000AD but fan favourite,artist Trevor Hairsine(Ultimate Nightmare,Black Panther,X-Men Origins)comes back to where it all began for him as we welcome him home for a Judge Dredd one shot written by Rob Williams.
